Christmas Parade

Mommy took me to the Christmas parade tonight. It was freezing outside, but mommy put my big jacket, hat,a nd gloves on so I would stay warm. When we got there we had to walk forever to get to where the parade would be, I thought we would never get there. But once we did there was lots and lots of little kids there. Mommy bought me a blue light wand to play with. It was really cool. Then we sat on the curb next to the road and watched for the parade. Once it started I was so excited. There was big bands playing music with drums, flutes, trumpets(like Aunt Krissy use to play). Mommy and me Danced while the bands played. Also the shriners rode their little cars, which was very cool, some were dressed up like clowns(Mommy said it reminded her of Granny Sybils husband Mr. Charles, he use to be one of the people who would drive the cars). We also say lots and lots of cars, and fire trucks. And at the very end Santa was up on a very big Firetruck waving at me. I got lots of candy, and even a coupon for mom! We had a blast. When we got back home mommy made hot chocolate to make us warm! I love the parade!!
